Yes, users have reported the heating issue after the December security patch. Samsung must be improving the security and getting ready for the One Ui 7 update. So it also could be a reason for it. A55 will be one of the first phones to receive the One Ui 7 update. So, they must be preparing the device for it with the security updates. Most probably, Samsung will fix the heating issue with the January security update.
