Galaxy A
Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with my Samsung Galaxy A16 4G after the latest software update.
The fingerprint sensor has stopped working since the update. It either doesn’t respond or fails to recognize fingerprints.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Restarting the phone
- Deleting and re-adding fingerprints
- Cleaning the fingerprint sensor
- Performing a factory reset
After the factory reset, the fingerprint worked normally at first, but after some time, the problem came back again.
This issue started only after the latest update, and the fingerprint was working perfectly before that.
Could you please advise if this is a known issue or provide a solution?
Thank you.

Galaxy AThey will probably just charge you more than the phone. 😂
Or you can go to a phone a repair store that is reliable in your opinion and find what the problem actually is.
