The device started giving me a message that there is moisture in the charging port and the device is dry and has not been exposed to water. What is the solution, please?

The "moisture detected" warning on your Samsung Galaxy A73 can sometimes appear even if your device hasn't been exposed to water. This issue can be due to several reasons, such as dust or debris in the charging port, a software glitch, or an issue with the phone's moisture sensors. Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:

1. Clean the Charging Port

Gently inspect the port with a flashlight to see if there's any lint or dust.

Use a soft, dry toothbrush or a can of compressed air to carefully clean out any debris.

Avoid inserting anything sharp into the port, as this may damage it.

2. Dry the Port Thoroughly

Even minor humidity can sometimes trigger the moisture warning.

Let the device sit in a dry, well-ventilated area for 1–2 hours.

You can also use a low-heat hairdryer (at a safe distance) or place the phone in a bag of uncooked rice or silica gel packs to absorb moisture overnight.

3. Disable Fast Charging Temporarily

Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More battery settings and turn off Fast Charging and Super Fast Charging if enabled.

Sometimes, turning these off can allow the device to charge without triggering the warning.

4. Check for Software Updates

Samsung occasionally releases updates to address issues like false moisture detection.

Go to Settings > Software Update and install any available updates.

5. Clear USB Cache (If Available)

Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps (using the three dots in the top right corner).

Search for USBSettings and clear cache.

Restart the phone and see if the issue resolves.

6. Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting in Safe Mode can help determine if a third-party app is causing the issue.

To do this, hold the power button until the power options appear, then tap and hold Power off until you see Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode, try charging the device and see if the warning persists. If it doesn’t appear, a recently installed app might be the culprit.

7. Use Wireless Charging (if available)

As a temporary solution, you could try using wireless charging if your device supports it.

8. If All Else Fails: Seek Professional Help

If none of the above steps work, it could indicate a hardware issue. It’s best to take the phone to an authorized Samsung service center for diagnosis.

Try each step carefully, and let me know if you need further help!

I did these steps, press the volume down button and the power button, then I stopped fast charging and deleted the last application I downloaded on the device, and now it is working fine again
