Galaxy ASamsung doesn't release a software update for all their devices at once in a single day. The updates are released in batches. So, you have to wait for your turn.
Switching to the point of view to Samsung's side, it is quite difficult to post an accurate software update release timeline for all regions and devices. Even if they did post a timeline, it is not guaranteed that the update will be released exactly at the mentioned time (users hate that). Know that this company have many devices from flagship to midrange to budget, to maintain & it will take time to release the update to each model in each region.
Even if that doen't make sense to you, know that there are still other phone manufacturers who exists but never or rarely give their phone a software update. You are stuck forever with the software that came with the phone on the first day you bought it. Samsung's is doing great with their software update release. Previously, you would get 2 years Android upgrade, then it became 4 and now, it 6.
Side note, with Samsung, don't worry about software updates. Just use your phone...but occasionally, manually check for software update. Don't be mad when you don't receive it. You will get what you were promised. On this one, Samsung never disappoints. Trust me. Sure they do sometimes mess up but not always. There are humans working behind..
Don't believe people here when they give you release date. You will get even more frustrated and mad at them. Also, don't trust the official timeline from Samsung posted by someone else on this platform because like I said before, the updates are released in batches. So, yes, some other countries actually get an official timeline but not meant for here.
