Samsung A53 whatsapp issue

Hello, I bought Samsung A53 for my parents. I'm facing a weird issue, that whenever phone is locked for a while like for 10 to 20 seconds in locked state, whatsapp won't get any call or sms. The other end shows that whatsapp is calling the number. Calling, not Ringing. And when you just double tap on the screen all notifications will appear at once. I have checked every setting in the phone, like background data usage, allow notifications. Reinstall whatsapp. But all in vein. Hoping to have this issue fixed. As it is getting irritating. Thanks.

Remove battery saving option.

If u are using only social media bundle then it is normal and if you have subscribed monthly or weekly internet and still u are not receiving calls or sms when screen is off untill u opens whstsapp, then this is problem...

Also try it by using ptcl wifi or any other wifi...

Its a postpaid number. And there is no bundle on it. I'm connected to Stormfiber. All other phones are connected to same network. And none other is facing issue but A53 only. And that too for whatsapp calls.

Do you have allowed all the permission required

Yup. All allowed. Same as on other phones. I actually has two A53. And both of them had same issues. One got snatched from my Father. But the other one is still with us. And it still have the same issue. Just WhatsApp. No other app.
