Samsung A53 whatsapp issue

Hello, I bought Samsung A53 for my parents. I'm facing a weird issue, that whenever phone is locked for a while like for 10 to 20 seconds in locked state, whatsapp won't get any call or sms. The other end shows that whatsapp is calling the number. Calling, not Ringing. And when you just double tap on the screen all notifications will appear at once. I have checked every setting in the phone, like background data usage, allow notifications. Reinstall whatsapp. But all in vein. Hoping to have this issue fixed. As it is getting irritating. Thanks.

Thats been done. I said I reinstalled it even from Google play store.

I have exactly the same issue, spent days by applying all the tricks but nothing positive.  My friend is having the A53 5g and that's working fine. 

Just to add one thing that when the phone is connected to Internet on cellular network then all ok but on Wifi each call is missed without out any notification.  The caller see me as calling instead of Ringing. 

If anybody found the solution please HELP.

i have the same problem with my s10 except that i don't get notifications for all my apps until i open them

Well my issue is specific to A53 and for specifically WhatsApp calls and notifications.

Now its best option. Is Reset your App performance in settings and Enjoy the Full highly experice on your Device Galaxy A53 5G

As stated earlier. I have performed all the actions. Also cleared cache. Cleared data. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. The issue persist. And don't pretend to be an official from Samsung.pk. you **bleep** on this. Haha.
