Today I've experienced skipping while playing music over my bluetooth headphones and bluetooth speakers. I have the latest A51 purchased 2 days ago.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

0707 PM. After doing a factory reset, the skipping is still happening, with a new twist.
The music stops completely.
Samsung you should fix this. This phone is 3 days old.

i have read about this issue and this is what i find.
turning off the wifi makes the audio drop out stop. of course this is a frustrating stop gap measure and absurd as well as wifi is essential in a smartphone.

i have opened the developer tools and changed the bluetooth AVRCP version from default 1.4 to 1.3. and i am checking the other 2 as well. which is 1.5 and 1.6 versions

another thing i found which seems to significantly lessen the audio drop out is to use a bluetooth device that has the AAC codec. my sony wic200 has this codec whereas my jbl tune205t uses the SBC codec.

there is still the occasional stutter buts its very far in between, maybe twice in a 4 min song. still a stopgap measure but bearable since i can keep my wifi on at the same time.

conclusions for now is to use a device with the AAC codec and to check which of the 4 AVCRP profiles lessen the audio drop out.

its a good idea to try which codec works with which avrcp version.

Thanks a lot Internet.

let me reiterate that some software patch either from Google or Samsung should be released addressing this concern. this issue is in no ways solved as i still dont know how stable this workaround is regarding the bluetooth audio dropout

This is headache in UAE also nothing is significant solutions given by Samsung even facing same problem. Visting Service Center of no use as they told me that the device has no problem its an software issue new update will come it will be fixes. Yesterday new security patch came still the same problem. Samsung should world wide withdraw this model. They lost there name few years ago when Note Series was exploding due snag in the battery. Repenting to use this brand again.

did the system update today, and so far the bluetooth connection is stable while wifi is turned on.

however i set the avrcp version setting to 1.3 , under developer settings, im using a sony bluetooth headset with aac codec. see if that works.

keeping my fingers crossed.

i havent tested for my jbl headset which has the sbc codec.

that's why i never bothered going to the service center as they will say the same things.

its a waste of time to go the service center for this issue.
