As we A50s got oneui 2.5 on 2nd December

Here are the new features we got

So, now i don't want to mention them again but here in this post i want to mention things in general user point of you.

Camera :
I see some quality improvements in front cam as well as in rear.

Fast Charging :
 0-100% in 1hr 40min
 0-96% in 1hr 45min
 0-100% in 1hr 55min
Before update it used to be 1hr 30min with max 1hr 40min.

Cable charging :
 0-100% in 2hrs 10min
 36-81% in 56min
Beforw update it used to be 1hr 50min with max 2hrs.

Ram management :
Avg ram i see 2.4gb with max 2.9gb. Though it was increased from before (avg 2.4gb max 2.6gb) i don't see any lag, shutters while switching between apps also in gaming. Which was my main concern before. So, ram management improved in my opinion.

Heating :
Still has those heating issues while gaming.

Connectivity :
No issues in connectivity like BT, WiFi, hotspot etc.

Network :
No network issues yet. Getting good speed & coverage with jio.

Restarts :
While using secure folder mobile got restarted 7 times in 5days. This happened only while using secure folder.

Battery backup :
Seems battery backup is reduced. Though i debloated some apps the Max SoT i used to get before update was 11hrs 30min in 7 tests.
But after update in 4 tests of full drain max SoT I got was 9hrs.
Have to see few more days how it performs.

Deep sleep drain :
 Overnight (12am - 7/8am ) is just 1% 🙂

Device care :
Adaptive power saving which generally changes from optimized to medium below 40% not at all works. Yes it used to work perfect before as soon as battery reaches below 40% or phone is idle for more than 2 hrs optimized changes to medium. Again changes to optimized while charging & battery more than 40% .But now it always stays in medium power saving i have to change it manually to optimized.

Conclusion :
Its a good update with some new features but these are some issues i faced.
1. Random Restarts while using secure folder.
2. Battery backup reduced a little.
3. Useful cards not working.
4. Adaptive battery saving not working.
5. Charging time increased a little. And the estimated time is always wrong 😆

Note :
Just for the test purpose i drained & charged the battery full if not i prefer to use mobile between 20-80%

Settings i use for battery

I didn't see any dip or improvements in performance. One thing I really liked is Deep Sleep mode which disable the apps after we close. This is the feature I was looking for in Android in many years.
Did not notice any battery drain issue. it was same as before. I get around 9.5 hours SoT. But charging time is increased. Secure Folder / Alt-Z works fine without any restarts till now.

Yup deep sleep i already mentioned in my previous post so not mentioned here 🙂🙂
Battery drain i have, before SoT was 11.5 hrs but now it reduced to 9hrs.
Yup charging a bit slow compared to before.
If i use secure folder more than 30min mobile restarts donno why.

There is no option to disable Vibration. Option is available only for calls. But for regular messages (SMS) or any other notifications it vibrates. We have to select any one in Vibration pattern but can't disable/off. Have you find any option disable it permanently?
