Galaxy AHigh Refresh Rate: The A26 features a 120Hz display, which provides smooth animations but requires more energy than a standard 60Hz setting.
Background Apps: Certain apps, particularly social media or streaming services, may continue to run and refresh data even when not actively in use.
Weak Signal: If your phone is constantly searching for a better cellular signal, it will work harder and drain the battery faster.
How to Improve Your Battery Life
You can use the built-in "Battery and device care" tools to optimize your performance:
Run Device Optimization: Go to Settings > Battery and device care and tap Optimize now to close unnecessary background apps.
Limit Background Usage: In the Battery menu, select Background usage limits and choose "Put unused apps to sleep" or "Deep sleeping apps" for apps you rarely use.
Adjust Display Settings: Lower your screen brightness or enable Adaptive brightness. You can also switch the Motion smoothness to "Standard" (60Hz) to save power.
Enable Power Saving Mode: This restricts background data and disables high-power features like Always On Display.
Check for Updates: Ensure your phone is running the latest software by going to Settings > Software update, as updates often include battery optimization fixes.
Note: If you suspect a hardware issue or notice the phone is unusually hot, you can run a battery diagnostic through the Samsung Members app.
Have you checked your Battery Usage settings yet to see which specific apps are consuming the most power?
