😡😡😡😡

1.One UI 8 version seems to make my device malfunctions since I updated to it, I can't do much on my phone...every app just exits to homescreen, 

2.I can't even tipe a message as my keyboard doesn't show or comes up tip 2 letter and then it's gone..

3.If I go on to the internet and search something it keeps on saying. 

 "Aw snap , something went wrong while displaying this web page" 

4. When I GO INTO A GAME I GET THIS MESSAGE 

" SOMETHING WENT WRONG -- CHECK GOOGLE PLAY IS ENABLED ANS UP TO DATE-- 
TRY REINSTALLING THE APP -- I DID IT 4 TIMES ON 4 SEPRITE GAMES AND NOW MY OTHER APPS STARTED TO.

I tried doing soft reset but it's still doing the same..

CAN SAMSUNG PLEASE SORT OUT THIS MESS.

You're not alone also when I play games on my galaxy a24 4g they go to home screen cause of the update

Yes all apps be crashing out aswell

Think we all need to contack support and complain en report the problem. Like every time when the conversation is finished u start a new qwear8....😂😂

And when I contacted support the told me what I have to do and see if it resolve the problem -- hahaha no it didn't.. I did tell her it is since the update.

And I only hot my phone 2 weeks ago. -- after every thing told me I need to take it to a repair center that they can see what's going on.
I'll keep you all informed and up to date on what's happening.

I should take mine in as well cz its on contract but where so i get another phone

They need to sort it out.. I got my phone at Game , but i must take it to vodacom Centurion to have a look. I think the more people complain and reporting it . phones need fixing and the need to do it on their cost . As it's a softwaare upgrade problem . We all got a notification software upgrade and that is what we did..

Because at this moment I'm loosing alot of information.

Mine does the same thing i think if they release the Beta UI 8.5 phones should be fine but god when is that gona be im frustrated already

What’s actually happening (in simple terms)

All your symptoms together tell us core system services are crashing:

Apps instantly closing → System UI / WebView / Google services conflict

Keyboard appearing then disappearing → Samsung Keyboard or Gboard crashing

“Aw snap” in browser → Android System WebView broken

Games asking for Google Play → Google Play Services not working

STEP 1: Boot into Safe Mode (VERY IMPORTANT)

This checks if the system itself is broken.

1. Hold Power button


2. Tap and HOLD Power off


3. Tap Safe mode


4. Phone will restart



Now test:

Try typing

Open browser

Open any app


If the problem still happens in Safe Mode
➡️ CONFIRMED: One UI 8 update is faulty
(skip to Step 4)

If it works in Safe Mode
➡️ A system app update is broken (continue Step 2)

STEP 2: Fix Google & WebView (Most common cause)

Go to Settings → Apps

Do this for EACH app below:

Google Play Services

Google Play Store

Android System WebView

Google Chrome

Samsung Keyboard (or Gboard)


For each app:

1. Storage


2. Clear cache (NOT data yet)


3. Force stop



🔁 Restart phone and test again.

STEP 3: Wipe Cache Partition (Safe & powerful)

This does not delete your data.

1. Power off phone


2. Plug USB cable into phone and PC (or charger)


3. Hold Volume Up + Power


4. Release when Samsung logo appears


5. Use volume keys → Wipe cache partition


6. Power button to confirm


7. Reboot system



👉 This alone fixes MANY post-update crashes.

STEP 4: If STILL broken → Factory Reset (Last option)

⚠️ Only do this after backup.

Why this works:
One UI 8 likely installed corrupted system files. A reset rebuilds everything clean.

Backup first:

Samsung Cloud

Google account

WhatsApp backup

Photos to Google Photos


Then:

Settings → General management → Reset → Factory data reset

STEP 5 (If reset DOES NOT fix it) → Roll back One UI

This means the update itself is bad.

Options:

Samsung Service Centre (recommended)

Or flash previous firmware via Samsung Smart Switch / Odin (advanced)
