Returning to Samsung

So for the last few years I've been exploring other androids and Apple devices; Android more than Apple of course. I think my last Samsung product was the S4+. I won't lie and say I had the highest models either. Anyhoo, fast forward and I just got my A36 5G 6GB/128GB and out the box did the update from ONEUI7 TO 8 and the experience has been solid. Only thing I can say is it's heats up too quickly and the battery drains much faster than expected or than supposed to. Other thing and I think it's based on Country paying a premium that should be getting you the 8gb/128gb or even 8gb/256gb variant yet only getting the 6gb/128gb. Otherwise SAMSUNG came through again.

How long does your battery last? My mother has that phone and she charges it every second day and is always up to date on all her apps and software. I make sure every app is updated and software is updated

So I am a techy. So know my way around tech lemme start there; so yes important to keep everything up to date etc.

I'd say I charge my phone twice a day. As I'm typing this message my phones on 25%. I probably won't charge it now as I already charged it this morning around 12 after using the remaining battery life I woke up to. So I'll go to bed a bit later it's currently around 7pm. I don't want to overcharge but it's somewhat forcing me to. So tomorrow morning I'll charge it again for the day and probably end up having to charge it again somewhere during the day again.

Coolz I am also techy 😂. Yes yes it is important to keep your phone up to date on everything, I only mentioned that just so you know the device is running the same update as you (One Ui 😎

I completely understood everything you said so yes you did make sense. Are you a heavy user on your device? That could be the reason why your device don't last long.

So I work for myself from home, building custom gaming PC's etc, so yes my phone is in use throughout the day. It being 7:20PM rn my phone reads 7 hours 46mins screen on time and 8 hours 42mins off time. Battery usage 122% ... Yesterday I had 12 hours 7mins screen on and 9 hours 30mins screen off with 162% battery usage ...

Oh so then I guess it makes sense as to why it lasts a day of usage.

I guess it does 😅 still just drains too quickly still, I mean my Xoami lasted longer and I did sk much more on it 😅

Yeah It has come to my attention that Samsung battery is extremely weak to be honest 😒 I once used Honor phone, it was lasting longer, but i got back to Samsung because Honor was boring it doesn't have stylish interface

Hi I'm experiencing the same with battery life. I bought the original 45w charging adapter. It also drains 2% at overnight. Is that normal? I'm not a really avid user. Mostly just uber, ig, email and WhatsApp
