RED COLOR BADGE ICON ON MY WHATSAPP APP

Sorry guys I'm posting about this issue for the 3rd time, please help this time with the proper information and details... .

I'm using galaxy a71 

From Oct 22nd I'm noticing a red color badge icon on my whatsapp app (left side of the app) is appearing. And the same icon also has been appeared on my phone pe app on the very same day. But after I uninstalled and then reinstalled it that icon has been went out automatically. So the same I done with my whatsapp app but it didn't work out for me. Even I tried all the possible solution to resolve this issue but still it's appearing. My whatsapp is up-to-date and functioning properly. Then why this red color badge icon is appearing...???, will it ever go...???. or my phone has some problem...???

after i updated my phone this badge appeared on whatsapp and on phonepe which got installed itself. The phonepe badge went after i used it. but i had to reinstall whatsapp to remove the badge.

yes you're right phone pe got installed itself... . But I've uninstalled and reinstalled whatsapp but it's didn't work out for me... .

Yes this red icon appears after I updated my phone... .

it will go after one or two days no need to worry it happens after update or newly installed application in many phones

I'm noticing this from Oct 22nd and before that I've installed whatsapp. Everything was smooth but from Oct 22nd I'm noticing this issue. And it has been more than two days... . Anyway thanks for sharing your valuable thoughts experience with me keep supporting... .😊
