RCS in India 🇮🇳

Rcs is available in India. It's Available on Vodafone I dia.

Many will say Jio does support Rcs too. I will talk about that later. 

First let's talk about Vodafone.

Vodafone India support Rcs Universal profile. Which means you can use Rcs or Chat feature any where in the world who have Rcs Universal Profile Supported Carrier. 

How to activate Rcs features on Samsung Phones?

1. Make Vodafone sim(which one you will use for your Rcs profile) as your default data sim.

2. On mofe connection settings you will find Rich Communications, Turn it on.

3. Open Samsung message app, you will get pop up about advance messaging follow the instructions. And you are on.

On Jio 

Jio support Rcs but it doesn't support Universal Rcs profile as Vodafone India. Which is the reason why if you using this advance feature you can use it only Who use Rcs on Jio network.

They didn't release it officially as Vodafone did.

bhai A50 me idea sim daalo to chalti hai and default messages app kholo to show ho jata hai khud messages just got better vaali screen. what phone are you using ?

I tried with Jio its working but not with Airtel
I am using samsung s10

On Jio, It's only Jio to Jio, on Jio network it doesn't support global RCS. Also it's called Advanced Calling & Messaging. You can use this only on Samsung message or Jio RCS app.

On airtel it does support. Make airtel as your default data sim and update google play service.
If ot still doesn't work, try once with Google message app.
