I have been using the routine feature where I've stated that whenever my device auto detects me sleeping, it automatically closes all my apps and also turns off the wifi. However i am concerned if I'm constantly being monitored by the camera. And how does the phone auto detect whether I'm sleeping or not? Is my data going to be compromised? Should i be using that routine or not?

No.. Routine does not use use your camera.. Routine is just monitoring your sleep pattern and your screen time.. i don't think your data will be share.. so relax.. It is better to Adapt with the Generation... so think u should use Routine..

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern we want to inform you that users are not monitored by camera to calculate the sleep, but a combination of optical heart rate monitor, gyroscope, and accelerometer detect restless movements, drops in heart rate, blood oxygen, and other tell-tale signs that shows the device's wearer is sleeping.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
