Problem with Netflix since the update to Android 11 Samsung a40

Hello

My a40 was running fine than the update to Android 11 came and it messed it up..

Netflix and prime were freezing and crashing. I already disabled HD playback on prime and now it works fine,but Netflix is still crashing. I already reinstalled the app and it didnt help :(

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Having the same issue too, ever since I updated to Android 11... Same Samsung A40. Netflix either won't play video or straight up reboots my phone. Netflix costumer service did nothing to fix. Freaking  he double hockey sticks, Samsung, do something to fix this!

I'm the thread creator and still nothing has changed no update no nothing im paying for nothing.. I will never ever buy a Samsung phone again. I tried contacting them through Twitter and so on no response. I don't get it please fix it!!!!!!!!!!

I have same issue with A40 from Spain. New update is released in France.  This update fix the issue. At this moment, no more updates released for other countries.

It is not released anywhere, my phone does not show any updates. 

Is there a way to install this manually?

I mean every streaming app is not working its not only a Netflix problem.

I used vpnhub app on my phone downloaded the update now it runs much better fir the moment I hope it stays that way thank you for sharing!

 

But however I will never buy Samsung again lol it took 2 months...

Nothing works. I've tried everything and more, and the only thing that helps a bit (not always) is to allow Netflix to access to your storage, but as I said is not always working.

I'm waiting for Samsung (or maybe the streaming platforms) to solve the problem, cause we are paying for something that we cannot use...
