Just wanna clear the air here.

Guys if your galaxy device was bought @ a store locked to a network like here in SA: 

Telkom, Vodacom, MTN or Cell C

If you bought it at a lets say a Clothing Store that came with free benefits like free data etc.

Depending on the the starter pack you got with the device. Lets say it was bought @ Truworths or Mr. PRICE or any other store it could be any store. 

That network deal you got with your phone along with the sim also has your device compatible to one network in Sim Tray 1. Unless you. Wanna buy directly from samsung online or in store will then give you a fully carrier unlocked Galaxy A or S series device. 

I saw alot of post of Sammyfans reporting of updates of OS Firmware rolling out in regions but it pushes out in phases as they always say. The Network locked phones take a little longer to get that update as the networks who locked these devices with pre-loaded apps for their networked. If its MTN, u will s few MTN apps in a folder but it doesnt always come with those

So the network you bought your fone one will tinker with the OS firmware before delivering it OTA ( Over The Air) to put those pre-loaded apps back on with Android 14 . Thus causing delays making u wait...

Unlocked devices thus get the updates with no delays

My A52 (A525F, XFA) is unlocked , but I still didn't get it, it's not out for many regions as I've checked.


Samsung just **bleep**'**bleep** as of late

The previous rollout (One UI 5) was done much better.

Not only that , this new firmware has so many issues that I'm not gonna be bothered to explain on here.

They had 9 beta's to iron out all inconsistencies and didn't care to fix.

I'm not gonna bothered with the update .
