Phone aps lagging after update

I update my phone regularly however the latest update (about a week ago) I noticed a change in performance of the phone and aps. The aps lag and some of them freeze and I have to wait to close it. This never happened before as I had these aps from the time I had the phone. Please help

Please soft reset your device. Press and hold your power button and volume down key for about 10 to 15 seconds until the device restarts

I restarted my A52s 5G as you directed, however, the apps still show "pending". No updating is happening.

Eventually, all apps are updated after the restart method you suggested.
