Hello guys
I have been experiencing an issue where the colour palette of the Panel is different when the screen is locked and unlocked. The colour it displays when unlocked is not the one I set in the wallpaper settings. It's more brownish than the standard greyish and white style. Anyone with any knowledge on how to correct this?

Also the ONE UI 8 update might have a few bugs because the fonts for my widgets and lock screen keeps changing when I restart the device.

Hi G00n, that issue you’re describing on your Galaxy A54 is actually a fairly common quirk in One UI’s dynamic color system. Let’s go through why it happens and how you can fix or minimize it.
---
🔍 What’s Happening
When your phone is locked, One UI uses a different color context from the Material You (color palette) that you set under Wallpaper & style.
The Lock screen often uses a simplified theme for better visibility and battery efficiency (especially with Always On Display).
When you unlock, the system applies your Material You palette (derived from your wallpaper), but some users notice a warmer tint (brownish) or a duller tone — especially if your wallpaper has warm hues or the adaptive color engine misinterprets it.
---
🧩 Try These Fixes
1. Reset and Reapply Color Palette
Go to Settings → Wallpaper and style → Color palette
Turn Color palette off, restart your phone, then turn it back on and reselect your preferred colors.
This forces the system to refresh the theme mapping.
2. Check Dark Mode
If Dark mode is toggling automatically (like at sunset), it can make the quick panel appear more brownish or sepia.
Go to Settings → Display → Dark mode settings, and try disabling schedule temporarily.
3. Lock Screen vs. Home Screen Wallpaper
Make sure your lock screen and home screen wallpapers are the same, especially if you want color consistency.
Different wallpapers = different extracted palettes.
4. Clear Theme Cache
Go to Settings → Apps → One UI Home → Storage → Clear cache (don’t clear data).
Then go to Settings → Wallpaper and style → Reapply wallpaper and palette.
5. Check for System Theme Conflicts
If you’ve used Good Lock → Theme Park or downloaded custom themes from the Galaxy Store, they can override color tones.
Try disabling custom themes and switch to the default Samsung theme to test.
---
⚙️ Optional Advanced Fix
If you have Good Lock, install Theme Park:
1. Open Theme Park → Quick panel tab
2. Customize the color manually (set your preferred white/grey tone)
3. Apply and restart your phone
That forces a consistent tone on both lock and unlocked screens.

Would you like me to guide you step by step on fixing it using Theme Park (so you get the same exact color on both lock and unlock screens)?
