It's normal for a 25W PD charger to get warm, especially during fast charging, as higher wattage can generate more heat. However, if the charger is getting too hot to touch or is causing concern, here are a few steps to try:
1. Check Compatibility: Ensure the charger and cable are officially compatible with the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, as using non-compatible accessories can cause overheating.
2. Ventilation: Make sure the charger and phone are in a well-ventilated area and avoid charging on surfaces that trap heat, like beds or couches.
3. Cable Quality: Use a high-quality USB-C cable that's also rated for high-wattage PD charging. Poor-quality cables can cause excess heat.
4. Software Update: Make sure your phone’s software is up-to-date, as Samsung sometimes releases updates that can improve charging performance and safety.
5. Test Charger on Another Device: Try charging a different compatible device with the same charger to check if the issue persists, as the charger itself could be faulty.
If these tips don’t help and the charger continues to overheat, it might be best to switch to a different charger, preferably one certified by Samsung.
