Galaxy AThank you for your inquiry regarding the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A36 and A56 devices. We understand your interest in staying up to date with the latest software.
Please note that software updates are released in phases and may vary depending on the device model, region, and carrier approval. Updates are not delivered to all Samsung devices at once to ensure system stability and the best user experience. Flagship devices typically receive updates first, followed by other eligible models in a staged rollout.
Beta programs are limited to selected regions to allow controlled testing before a stable version is released globally. Once testing is complete, the update is gradually made available via OTA (Over-the-Air) to supported devices.
To ensure your device receives the update promptly:
- Keep “Auto download over Wi-Fi” enabled
- Regularly check for updates via:
Settings > Software update > Download and install
We appreciate your patience as the update becomes available for your device in your region.

Galaxy AThank you for sharing your inquiry regarding the One UI 8.5 update for Galaxy A36 and A56 devices.
Please note that software updates are released in phases and may vary depending on region, device model, and carrier approval. This is why updates do not arrive on all Samsung devices at the same time. Flagship models are usually prioritized first, followed by other eligible devices in stages to ensure system stability and the best user experience.
Beta programs are also limited to selected regions to allow controlled testing before the official global rollout. Once testing is completed, the stable version will be gradually released via OTA (Over-the-Air) update to supported devices.
We recommend keeping Auto download over Wi-Fi enabled and regularly checking for updates through:
Settings > Software update > Download and install
Your patience is highly appreciated while the update becomes available in your region.
