It is just a polished version of One UI 7 to prepare for One UI8.5

This is just a scheme to run down our mojor updates, There's literally nothing new that's really useful in these updates. "Every update is tested before it's released" if so then what's with these bugs people keep complaining about on every major update? It's done on purpose so you'll complain and that's enough reason to justify these back to back updates. Honestly there's nothing wrong with our phones software as it stands. Samsung can't make every individual happy. Even people with flagship phones are not happy about something. These updates should have been security updates and added these small changes. 0ne UI 8 doesn't feel like a major update. Be real guys. As a none flagship user I don't feel that this is worth being a major update at all. *Currently using A35 5G*. Wait for the last major update and see if it won't mess up your phone and make you buy a new one. These recent updates don't excite me, I doubt UI8.5 will be any different. I'd like my phone to have dual video recording, better object eraser, we all have things we would like to have on our current phones but can't have those because of "hardware limitations". For some no amount of updates will satisfy them, even if it made their phones transform into mini robots they'll still complain. Stop riding this hype train, it's messing with our heads, there's nothing new here. Our phones still do the same things they did when we bought them new. (Enjoy your updates & be ready to buy a new phone) 😶 🌫

Okay, I get you and understand your opinion. But there are things you need to understand.
Not every "major" update will feel major. One UI 8 was in Samsung’s plans and it focuses on refinement, security and ecosystem continuity. It's NOT all just about flashy new features. If you have that mindset then you will always disappoint yourself by expecting too much or expecting things not in plan yet.
In terms of bugs that most people are experiencing, this is not uncommon. There are a lot of devices, carriers and regions. It's impossible to be systematically perfect on every one of them. Just impossible.

I also disagree with you on a few things.
1. "They add bugs on purpose to make you upgrade"
This is assumption and you have no evidence. You story is not backed up so it's not true for now.

2. "Nothing new here"
It all depends on what you are looking for. The system is now more efficient and there are AI based features

3. "It's all hype"
One UI was part of the plan to get phones operating seamlessly in terms of system. This is needed to be done with the operating system uodate.

4. "They should just give us security patches"
Security patches are necessary but One UI versions improve framework- level improvements. Without these, your phone wouldn't be able to run new apps or access new API's safely.

And let me tell you something about bugs bro... as for bugs, they’re not a bad thing. They are unwanted but not a bad thing. They’re just part of how software evolves. They are just part of how software evolves. 💪 So a sign of bugs is a sign of software evolvement because it indicates that there was new creativity unlocked and they test to see how it will work.
Then BOOM!! its causes faults and then updates occur to try to be compatible enough and then at the end of the day it's a +1.
Most of these AI features had bugs we did not experience but with the updates to handle them, Samsung became confident enough to disburse it officially.

I'm not gonna type the whole day but I get you bro (everything you said) 🙏 😄

We can debate for eternity about this. We're not getting paid to debate about these things. We are all just consumers of Samsung products, good ones at that. We have different opinions about everything. Every user experience is different. There are many good features and there's a lot of unnecessary features in our devices too. This morning I saw bluetooth menu has a "Turn on again tomorrow feature" I am still thinking of a situation where someone would use that. Specifically at 5am
