One UI 8.5

So when are we getting the One UI 8.5? Samsung Galaxy A35 5G gang where you at?

Next year, after the release of the S26 series but not immediately. You have to wait even more before getting it, just like waiting for One UI 8 .

I agree. But One UI 8.5 will be just like One UI 7.0, new look, new features but it's limited depending on what phone you have. I hope I get what I was promised - Android 17 One UI 9.5

I think they gave A35 only 4 updates so we getting close to the end 😭 while others were given six updates (A36) imagine

Yes, a new phone in 2025 gets 6 years of software updates. Older ones get only 4 years of software like the A35, A34, A55, A54...mine is A54. It gets 4 years software update. So, the expected final version is Android 17 One UI 9.1 but since the .1 changed to .5, I should be getting Android 17 One UI 9.5 final update. I am still waiting for Android 16, UI 8.0

I feel like they spared alot of things than giving it all away like it's hard to buy a Samsung phone when you're in a budget because you have to be smart 😭 they will give different things you will get the tear drop on other phones then they increase the updates or they will not provide the screen fingerprint scanner and give a small bezels phone which is ridiculous or maybe the quality camera can be bad.

A17 should be perfect 👌, 6 years of os update, and has a 50 megapixel OIS camera!!

But some people prefer phones that do not have teardrop design and the fingerprint thing on the power button.
