Galaxy AYou’re definitely not alone — a lot of Galaxy A05 users have been reporting issues after updating to One UI 8. The heat you’re feeling when mobile data is on usually points to software or background process overload, which can happen after major updates.
Let’s go step by step to calm your phone down 👇
---
🔧 Step 1: Clear System Cache
After big updates, old cache files can conflict with the new system.
1. Turn off your phone completely.
2. Press and hold Volume Up + Power until you see the Samsung logo, then release.
3. Use the volume buttons to navigate to “Wipe cache partition” → press Power to select.
4. Choose Yes, then reboot.
---
⚙️ Step 2: Check Background Apps
Sometimes, One UI 8 re-enables heavy Samsung or Google services.
Go to Settings → Battery and device care → Battery → Background usage limits
Turn on Put unused apps to sleep and Sleep apps for anything you don’t use often.
Also disable auto sync temporarily in Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts.
---
📶 Step 3: Check Mobile Network Settings
Heating may happen if your phone constantly searches for signal.
Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile networks
If you’re in an area with weak 4G/5G, set Network mode to LTE/3G/2G (Auto) instead of 5G.
---
🧹 Step 4: Reset Network Settings
This can clear buggy configurations after updates.
Go to Settings → General management → Reset → Reset network settings
Then reboot your phone.
---
💡 Step 5: Optional — Safe Mode Test
Let’s see if an app is the cause:
1. Press and hold the Power button.
2. Long-press “Power off” and tap Safe mode.
3. Use mobile data for a few minutes.
If it doesn’t heat up → a 3rd-party app is the culprit.
