February 2024 security patch rollout has begun, but Samsung is also developing one UI 6.1 for eligible smartphones. In an exciting development, it has been revealed that Samsung continued the One UI 6.1 testing on the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 devices in February 2024.
According to the info, Samsung tested the One UI 6.1 firmware on Galaxy A54 and A34 for the first time in February 2024. While the rollout schedule is yet to be shared, the development and internal testing process is rapidly progressing for many devices.
The latest One UI 6.1 build for Galaxy A54 bears PDA version number A546BXXU6CXB1, while the A34’s firmware bears version A346BXXU5CXB2. We expect both phones to begin getting the next One UI version through a software update next month.
Sadly, the One UI 6.1 is indeed coming for both of these premium Galaxy A series devices. However, the Galaxy AI features available in the Galaxy S24 series won’t be included in the firmware. Notably, the upcoming Galaxy A55 and A35 devices even won’t bring any On-device AI feature.
