Notifications on A52

I intend to buy a Samsung A52, but I understood that pop up notifications are no longer allowed by Samsung, be it WhatsApp, Gmail or Emails. By pop up notification, I mean when the screen is locked, it lightens up and you are allowed to see the notification, brief or some content. So, is it true that pop ups do not show up?

They do show up. Unless you are coming from a very old android with those old pop up notifications that come in a rectangular.

Thank you, I am currently using Samsung J7 Pro since 2018 with Android 9. The issue I have with the J7 Pro is that Gmail, Samsung Email notifications would not pop up when the screen is locked, and WhatsApp is with the green and white pop up.
