So I order my A53 online, it gets delivered and I run to accept package at the gate.

I open the box and guess what, there's no charger!? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

I'm so disappointed at @Samsung, I should have have just gone with the Huawei.

Hi TotoZA

We are removing the charger plug in the box because Samsung wants to minimize our products' impact on the environment. Samsung is working on the global transition of the removal of the earphones and charger plugs from all Galaxy smartphones. To ensure Galaxy consumers have the tools to reuse older charger plugs, the Galaxy smartphones will still include a cable (USB-C to USB-C cable) in the packaging to attach the smartphone to the charger plug.

Well I had no old charger plug and that cable is maximising the impact on the environment since its just sitting uselessly in my drawer! It is the utter most disappointment. By removing these, Samsung has ensured to strip me of the tools to enjoy my new device. Purchasing this device has made my life more difficult because something so simple.
Your explanation and reasoning does not help me nor the environment in any way.
