No calls or msg when I leave home

When I leave home, my phone (although shows connected to my SP) seems to loose connection from the network.it only activates when i dial.or msg somebody, & then all my msgs & missed calls start popping up. I have replaced with a new sim, but this has not solved the problem

Please reset your device settings and perform a s oft reset

1. Please go to settings>> general management>> reset >> reset Network settings

2. 

Then please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.
