If you have forgotten the password, you may be able to change it using other forms of authentication, such as your fingerprint or face recognition, if you have already set them up. However, if these options haven't been configured, and the password is the only form of security on your phone, unfortunately, you won't be able to change the password without knowing the current one.
If you have enabled Find My Mobile, you can visit the Find My Mobile website, log in to your Samsung account, and use the service to unlock your device remotely in case it locks unexpectedly while you’re trying to change the password.
As a last resort, you can back up all your data through the settings and backup facility, then perform a factory reset to remove the password, but this will erase all data on the device. But after the reset, you will be able to recover all your data through your Samsung account and Google Back up. Make sure your device is backed up through both Google, and Samsung Cloud.
What I suggest doing before the factory reset is to plug your phone into a computer, and through the computer copy ALL the files onto your computer in case you are not able to recover everything after factory resetting your device.
If someone else could have a better idea, please mention. But it is a difficult position you are cuttently in with not much to do about it.
