My phone is network locked

Anyone help, my phone doesn't allow other sim cards excluding telkom, when I research they say it is network locked what can I do.

Usually when you make a 20min phone call on the network of the carrier of your device it should be network unlocked..... if not visit the carrier and get the unlock code

Carrier locked devices request a pin if you put a sim different from theirs, so you are not able to use it with other networks

So what happens in the case that a phone is a dual sim?

I never encountered that scenario but it should work regardless

It's a bit puzzling for me. I definitely know that when a phone is blacklisted you experience such issues. #We live and we learn.

Could be that too but then still visiting the carrier will resolve that too once again should that be the case.... I'm assuming he is the first owner of the device above there

Isn't your S22 a dual sim?

It support a physical sim and an e-sim not 2 physical cards
