Why Samsung is so late in providing Software Updates? My A51 got security Updates a few days ago while android 12 will be released in May 2022( Samsung says April but it'll be in May as Usual) & all of my friends have got android 12 on their phones coz they have Oppo & Xiaomi & one plus etc etc... Take a look at this list kf Samsung Android 12, it goes to August 2022 which is so so late

But it is a new phone, only got 1 update yet, android 12 is the second update, still it will get android 13 & after that 1 year security updates. But the problem here's with Samsung is that it provides updates very late as compare to other companies. They are often 6 months late then other companies... while lower midrange budget phone get updates 9 months later compare to official release of that software update!
