So ever since I updated my a32 5g to the latest security update its been having this annoying lag . After every few minutes the phone just lags for a couple of seconds then it's back to normal speed and then the process repeats itself again . I tried restarting the phone but it's still the same problem , it's really frustrating when I am on an online match with the guys then I just get a lag that ruins my whole game .

How do I fix this

Hi LuigiS, we're sorry to hear that.

Experiencing lag after a security update can be frustrating. Here are several steps you can take to try to resolve this issue:

1. Clear Cache Partition

Clearing the cache partition can help resolve issues caused by corrupted cache files:

  1. Turn off your phone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release both buttons.
  3. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition and press the Power button to select it.
  4. After the process completes, select Reboot system now.

2. Safe Mode

Booting into Safe Mode can help determine if a third-party app is causing the issue:

  1. Press and hold the Power button until the power off icon appears.
  2. Press and hold the Power Off icon until the Safe Mode prompt appears.
  3. Tap Safe Mode to restart in Safe Mode.
  4. Observe if the lag persists. If not, a third-party app is likely causing the problem. You can then uninstall recently installed apps one by one to identify the culprit.

3. Update All Apps

Make sure all your apps are updated, as outdated apps can sometimes cause performance issues:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top right corner and select My apps & games.
  3. Tap Update all.
  1.

4. Factory Reset

If the issue persists, a factory reset might be necessary. This will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up important information first:

  1. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory Data Reset.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
