How it works?
VoLTE service use internet for making calls. Wifi will provide internet service.
Where ever there is no VoLTE service switch on the Wifi calling feature, VoLTE will use wifi internet to make calls... Just like Skype group calls.
This is the best solution for getting clear signals inside home and remote areas.
Who introduced Wifi calling?
Airtel first announced wifi calling. Current available in some states like Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala etc... and support for few handsets.
Jio started this service later. Supports more than 150 devices in first release.
How to enable it?
1) Switch on and connect to Wifi.
2) Switch on "Wifi calling" feature.
3) Make calls with Jio or Airtel.
You can see wifi symbol when u select contact to make call.
