Issues since July update - flickering videos and images, battery drain

Hi all

Since the latest update I'm having a few issues with my Samsung A50. The worst one (almost making the phone unusable) is if I click on a video link, it will connect and start to play but then it goes black and continues to flicker in black and white across the whole screen. Sometimes if I back out and go back in a few times it will clear up, and become viewable, but not always. I can hear some sound at the beginning but that stops too.

 

I have also noticed:

significantly faster battery drain,

occasionally the call will drop and also

the mic will stop working mid call for no reason.I can still hear them, but they can't hear me.

 

Help! And instructions in plain language please.

yes regarding flickering several user faced this issue we have to wait for fix and should send this report as feedback to care

and for battery life as of now u can do these settings

1. Connection>more connections settings> disable nearby device settings

2. Location>improve accuracy >disable
A. Wifi scanning
B. Bluetooth scanning .

3. Google >click on 3dot>usage and diagnostics >off this option

4. developer option >background limit>no background processes.

5. Long press on each app specially 3rd party and rarely used app>app info>

A. Mobile data> allow background data usage>off

B. Battery >allow background activity >off

C. Notification >disable unnecessary notifications like promotional and unnecessary reminder notifications.

6. Device care>battery >select "optimised and adaptive power saving.

also u can go to developer option and disable this option
