In my opinion, Yes, that's a significant battery drain issue.
Here's why:
* Battery Health Degradation: Batteries degrade over time, and faster drain at lower percentages is a common sign of aging. However, your drain seems excessive even considering aging.
* Background Apps: Some apps might be misbehaving and consuming resources even when you're not actively using them.
* Software Glitches: Software updates sometimes introduce bugs that can impact battery life.
* Hardware Issues: In rare cases, there could be a hardware problem with the battery itself or the phone's power management circuitry.
Here's what you can do:
* Check for Software Updates: Make sure your phone's operating system (Android or iOS) is up-to-date. Updates often include bug fixes and battery optimizations.
* Identify Power-Hungry Apps:
* Go to your phone's battery settings (usually in the Settings app).
* Look for a list of apps that have used the most battery.
* Identify any apps that seem to be using excessive battery in the background.
* Consider restricting their background activity or uninstalling them if you rarely use them.
* Force Stop Apps: Force-stopping apps can sometimes help if they're misbehaving.
* Turn Off Unnecessary Features:
* Reduce screen brightness: Lowering the brightness significantly saves battery.
* Disable location services: If you don't need location tracking, turn it off.
* Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: When not in use, switch these off.
* Limit notifications: Reduce the number of notifications you receive.
* Consider a Factory Reset: (Last resort) If the issue persists, a factory reset can sometimes resolve software-related problems. Make sure to back up your data before doing this.
If the problem persists after trying these steps, it might be necessary to take your phone to a repair shop to diagnose and fix any potential hardware issues.
Hope this will be helpful!❤

I think, in my opinion, it is quite normal. Once the battery is full, it will reduce only a few percentages. But when the battery is low, it will reduce a few percentage more compared to the battery percentage when it is full.
If my comment helped you in any way. Please consider hitting the 3 dot menu of my comment and accept it as a solution. It would be helpful for me a lot.

Yes, problemetic battery health is low, bro.
Change the battery
Before the replacement, try Resetting Settings and also Format the Galaxy device in order.
(Back up device data in switch before any of these options)
If the problem is not solved even after those steps, replace the battery from a genuine service center.
8% is a huge thing to consider
