If I was you I'd just use normal WhatsApp but if you still want to use gb WhatsApp check that your devices settings allows you to install from Chrome or samsung internet whatever you are using

Have you tried an apk version from Google?

When you installed the apk...did you go to your settings and turn off Auto Blocker... if you don't turn that off it won't allow apk to run..

Go to settings and turn off Auto Blocker and download an apk.......i tried it and the gb WhatsApp worked...

It means it's been blocked by WhatsApp and you can't access your chats from Gb unless you're using the official WhatsApp... the last time people were being banned from using WhatsApp for periods of upto 3 weeks when moving back from gb to the official WhatsApp.... GB is not official WhatsApp, they somehow **bleep** into the WhatsApp servers, so time and time again what you're experiencing and other this may happen
