Galaxy AOn the Galaxy A55, there isn’t a direct “PAL/NTSC” toggle like on professional cameras. Samsung uses frame rate (FPS) instead.
Since PAL corresponds to 25fps or 50fps, you can set it manually like this:
Open Camera Switch to Video mode Tap the Resolution/FPS option at the top (e.g., FHD 30) Select FHD 25fps or FHD 50fps (this is PAL equivalent)
If you only see 30fps/60fps, make sure:
HDR video is turned OFF Super Steady is OFF You are not using certain special modes
That’s how you record in PAL on Galaxy A55 😊
If this helped, please mark this as accepted solution 🙏

Galaxy AThank you for your inquiry regarding recording video in PAL format on Galaxy A55.
Please be informed that Samsung.com/ae provides the most accurate and up-to-date information and guidance for Samsung products in the Gulf region.
Galaxy A55 does not include a direct PAL/NTSC selection option. Video recording format is determined by the selected frame rate. PAL standard corresponds to 25fps or 50fps recording.
Kindly follow the steps below:
• Open Camera and select Video mode.
• Tap the resolution/frame rate option at the top of the screen.
• Select a recording option that supports 25fps or 50fps, if available.
• If only 30fps or 60fps appears, please disable HDR Video and Super Steady, then check again.
Availability of frame rate options may vary depending on the selected resolution and camera mode.
