If your Samsung Galaxy A35 is heating up even with normal usage, it could be due to a few different factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Close Unnecessary Apps

Check if you have multiple apps running in the background, as they can strain the CPU and cause heating.

To close apps, go to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory, and clear any unnecessary background apps.

2. Restart Your Phone

A simple restart can resolve minor software glitches and refresh the device's system, which may help prevent overheating.

3. Reduce Screen Brightness

High brightness levels use more power, which can cause the phone to heat up. Keep brightness as low as possible or enable Adaptive brightness to let the phone adjust brightness based on ambient light.

4. Turn Off Unused Features

Features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC can contribute to heating if left on unnecessarily. Turn them off if you’re not using them.

5. Check for Software Updates

Software updates often include bug fixes and optimizations that can improve performance and reduce overheating.

Go to Settings > Software update and check if any updates are available.

6. Use Battery Saver Mode

Battery Saver mode limits background activities, which can help prevent overheating by reducing the load on the CPU.

7. Avoid Using While Charging

Using your phone while charging can cause it to heat up, especially if you're running high-power apps like games or streaming videos. Try to avoid using the device during charging.

8. Remove Case While Charging

Phone cases can trap heat. Remove the case when charging or using heavy apps to allow the device to cool more effectively.

9. Monitor Apps for High Battery or CPU Usage

Some apps may be consuming more resources than necessary. Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery usage to check if any app is using excessive battery or CPU.

If an app is using too much battery or CPU, consider uninstalling or reinstalling it to see if that improves performance.

10. Factory Reset as a Last Resort

If none of the above steps work, a factory reset might resolve any persistent software issues. Be sure to back up your data before doing this:

Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.

If the heating issue persists after trying these steps, it could indicate a hardware problem, like a faulty battery or internal component, and you may need to take it to a Samsung service center for a professional check-up.

For most devices, a good battery temperature range is:

Optimal Range: 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) – This is generally the best range for lithium-ion batteries, where they perform efficiently and don’t suffer from thermal stress.

Safe Range: 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) – This is the acceptable range for most batteries. Operating within this range avoids potential damage.

Risk of Damage: Temperatures above 45°C (113°F) or below 0°C (32°F) can harm battery health, cause faster degradation, or even lead to malfunctions.

Tips to Maintain Good Battery Temperature:

Avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Avoid high-performance apps or charging while gaming, which generate heat.

Use your device in ventilated environments when possible.
