I've noticed that on my Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone. Just asking if I can still receive software updates...

Did you:
1. Modify your software before? (i.e. root?)
2. Download a shady app that could've modified the system?

I've once rooted it and install a custom ROM. But I returned it to normal by flashing the official Software and re locking the bootloader. I just wanted to know if we can still receive software updates. On my old Samsung after rooting and reverting back to official, I received an update.
I'm currently waiting for One UI 4.1

Ahhh, that's why. It's a different era of Samsung these days. You tripped Knox and because of that you blew the "e-fuse". Not even Samsung centres can fix this. You would need a new motherboard to alleviate this issue. I believe you can only flash updates via odin from now on. If you get lucky, maybe a bug will allow you to receive OTA updates, but with the e-fuse gone, your chances aren't great.

Uhm.. One question again. I have all my data on this phone. If I flash new update via Odin, will it erase data?

No idea lol. My knowledge on this is just as good as yours haha. Check a few online forums like Reddit/XDA/Samsung Members (from different countries) to see if people have done this

Not necessarily.. first and foremost download an official firmware update that mulches yours . The on csc, enter the one with Home csc instead of just csc. This will keep your data intact. But make sure to backup your device on smart switch just in case of anything

The BL, AP and CP section I can leave it normal. Just change the CSC version to that of home CSC right?

The only slot you leave blank is userdata
