Having problems with type c earphones

Good Afternoon Samsung users 

Today I got new Huawei Type C earphones from a family friend ,now I'm trying to use them and my phone(Samsung A12) is showing a message which says this connected USB device isn't supported.....Can anyone please help me 😔😔😔🙏🙏🙏🙏

Mine didn't work until I updated this.

But I think it's about the compatibility issues why don't you use the original desired wired earphones that came with the phone or preferably get new wireless Bluetooth earphones instead? Am using an A12 myself but I bought some third part Bluetooth earphones and they work amazingly well I don't like the ones that came with the phone

Just to confirm do you get the same error when you use other earphones?

No I normally use the one that came with the phone but my cousin damaged them,, it was my first time trying new earphones

Oh yeah I think for now use the ones that came with the phone until you can purchase better ones which are compatible you Said you're using the A12 right???
