Google pay Number Verification

Today when i used google pay to pay someone it asked me to verify my number i verified it once then it started verifying over and over again somehow i managed to verify then as i was about to pay and selected the bank account then number verification again poped. it is not going away now have tried numerous times

Did you tried clearing the cache and data and make sure to force stop as well.

Just an info. check! Are you using Physical sim or e-sim?

yes few days back i have issued airtel e-sim.

Oh ohk, got it then the issue is with the e-sim if you the number that was registered with gpay has been converted to esim gpay is struggling to find it on you device and verify it .
Have faced it on mine

Do this uninstall Gpay
Restart your phone
Install gpay again
And start Afresh .

If it still doesn't work. Let us know.
