Galaxy A
Hi guys, I have a galaxy A35 (A356B). This is an issue regarding casting the screen to Google TV. Previously it was working when I tried to cast the phone screen to the Google TV. But for the last couple of days (around 1-2 weeks), I noticed it is not properly working. It connects and starts the cast but when I start casting a video stream, it will go for around 4-5 secs and will freeze the screen of Google TV. But from the Android side, no error is shown but the Google TV cast is frozen. Also I tried this with two other Android devices (Galaxy A32 & Galaxy A51) and it was working perfectly. Also I tried resetting the phone but still the issue persists. Do you have any idea on this? Great if you can help me out to solve this issue.
Thanks & regards,
TBGalaxy.

It looks like this issue is specific to the Galaxy A35, because casting works fine on your other devices. Recently many A35 users reported the same screen-casting problem after the latest software update. The cast connects, plays for a few seconds, then freezes on Google TV - but the phone shows no error.
You already tried the right steps (reset, testing other devices), so the problem is most likely a software bug in the A35 firmware. For now, the only fix is to wait for Samsung to release a patch/update. You can also try clearing Google Home, Google Play services, and Google TV app cache, but results vary.
If you found this helpful, please hit the 3 dots and accept it as the solution 🙏
