I have noticed after every major google play system update it causes software glitches affecting my audio quality...audio sounds distorted after updates and has cracking sound.I reported this to google waiting for response.I have also done research on it and it is possible that google play updates can cause these issues.
I have done these steps to counter the issue in the meantime:
1.Clearing google play store cache
2Clearing google play services cache
3.Clearing my music player cache
4.Clearing sound quality and affects cache and deleting its data
5.Lastly restart my phone.
Still have to see if my audio quality returns to normal.
Note:This is the downside of having software accelerated Dolby decoders and High quality upscaler affects cause software other than hardware is verry sensitive
