Hi All. I have a Samsung A32 4G. I have selected to have my Google Assistant on even when my screen is locked,  but it doesn't seem to work. I say the usual phrase "Hey Google" when my screen is locked but nothing happens.
Does anyone know if there is an additional setting I have to change anywhere in order for my Assistant to work when my screen is locked?

On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings." Or, go to Assistant settings.Under "All settings," tap Lock screen.Turn Allow Assistant on lock screen on or off.

What Google Assistant can’t do on your lock screen

Hi, thank you for this info. Unfortunately I've already been through this process, I googled before I came here for help. It just doesn't want to work with my lock screen no matter what I do.

Maybe Android is killing the background process for Google app when you lock your phone. Check if Google app is in the Sleeping apps/Deep sleeping apps list in Settings>Battery and device care>Battery>Background usage limits. If Google app is present in one of those two lists, then remove it from that list. Or try to check again if all settings are correctly set to make Google Assistant work when phone is locked.(edit)
