If your Samsung A53 is showing a "water or dusty in your mobile charging port" error even when the port is clean, the best way to remove this error is to simply let your phone dry out completely; sometimes the sensor can detect even minimal moisture, so just leave it unplugged for a while in a dry area to allow any potential moisture to evaporate completely; you can also try gently shaking your phone to dislodge any residual moisture.
Here are a few steps to try:
Check the charging port:
Even if it looks clean, use a soft brush or a toothpick wrapped with a soft cloth to gently clean the charging port to remove any dust particles that might be triggering the sensor.
Try a different charging cable:
Sometimes, the issue might be with the cable itself, so try using a different one.
Restart your phone:
A simple restart can sometimes clear the error message.
Use a fan or compressed air:
If you suspect some moisture is present, carefully direct a fan or a burst of compressed air towards the charging port to help dry it out.
Important points to remember:
Do not use liquids to clean the charging port:
Avoid using alcohol or water to clean the port as it can further damage the delicate components.
Check for physical damage:
If the issue persists even after trying the above steps, inspect the charging port for any visible damage like bent pins.
Contact Samsung support:
If the problem continues after trying these steps, it might be best to contact Samsung customer service for further assistance.
