Samsung has launched several A-series smartphones this year -- Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50, and many more. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is expected to continue or follow the same strategy in the year to come, 2020, as well. Past leaks revealed that Samsung is working on the successor to the Galaxy A90 that launched a couple of months ago. The successor device is said to be called the Samsung Galaxy A90s. The upcoming A-series phone from Samsung has already been certified by SafetyKorea certification site. This clearly hints at the imminent launch. Samsung is yet to confirm the smartphone.
Besides confirming that the Galaxy A90s is coming, the certification site also reveals some key specs of the smartphone. The certification site reveals that the Galaxy A90s will come with a big battery. It confirms that the upcoming Samsung smartphone will come packed with 4,200mAh battery. No details on whether the phone will come with fast charging support like its predecessor Galaxy A90 or not. The certification listing also reveals that the Galaxy A90s comes with model number EB-BA907ABYL. Sadly, no further details of the Samsung Galaxy A90s have been revealed.
The upcoming Galaxy A90s will succeed the already existing Galaxy A90. The key highlight of the smartphone is that it supports 5G. The Samsung Galaxy A90 is currently available in Korea. Samsung hasn't launched the Galaxy A90 in India yet. There are no reports on whether the smartphone will ever hit the Indian market or not.
Samsung Galaxy A90 specs
The Galaxy A90 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2400x1080) Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The smartphone offers an edge-to-edge display that includes a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. The dual-tone finish adds to the overall design of the smartphone and makes it look premium.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC that comes equipped with Snapdragon X50 5G modem. The smartphone comes in two variants -- 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There an expandable microSD card slot that allows users to expand the storage space of the smartphone by up to 512GB.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy A90s comes with triple cameras on the rear. The smartphone includes a primary 48MP image sensor, secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor and third is a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone comes with a 32MP image sensor. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and Face ID support
