Galaxy A55 - Moisture detected in charging port

Hi guys, my galaxy a55 keeps on giving the moisture detected notification even when there is no moisture, could this be a software glitch? Please assist has anyone faced this problem before?

I dried the port using a hair drier on cold air, and cleaned the port, the error persits, i can only charge the device when its off

Hi Nxeko, thanks for responding, i use the original cable that came with the fone and an original samsung superfast charger

mine does that when i use after market charger

Navigate to Settings.

Apps > Tap the list-icon > Toggle on Show System Apps > Tap OK > Tap the search button on the top > Type USBSettings > Click it > Storage > Clear Cache.
