My galaxy has ip67 water and dust resistance but during the cyclone days my phone drenched in rain now my phone mic does not work. It makes a sound of water. I think this rating is a lie. I serviced my phone and replaced the bottom charging flex but the problem didn't solve. Because that reason I fed up the samsung devices. I was a samsung fan early because I choosed this galaxy a54.
just because a device has an IP 67 rating does not mean it is water resistant. An IP 68 rating is usually called water resistant. It should be understood that even if it is water resistant, it cannot be called waterproof. It only withstands minor damage. No matter what certification is given by the company, you can't claim your warranty for water damage. It is our responsibility to be use carefully. No matter what type of device we buy, it is the same. I think your device has been severely damaged by water.
