Galaxy A53 5G Charging

An ongoing problem I have with my A53 is the Super Fast Charging.Both the phone and charger heat up tremendously to the point where I unplug them during charging to let them cool down. The charging times are wayy off and the phone can be 20 to 40 minutes late at times. I always keep my phone over 20% and I have the protect battery setting on so I figure my battery health is good. I take my case off when I'm charging so it doesn't heat up as much

What can I do to improve the charging time and deal with the heating?

What kind of charger are you using? Try using a different charger and see if that may be the problem.

I'm using the official Samsung 25 watt charger

Could be a faulty charging block. I also bought a faulty charging block which overheated and only charged the phone for a couple of minutes and then stopped.

Don't use it during charge..make sure there are no apps running in the background, sometimes it's just inevitable because of the high temperature since it's the heat season so when it gets hot, let it cool then charge it

I even power off the device sometimes to charge it so there's nothing running but I still get the same result

Mine too gets warm I thought it was due to use during charge....I guess it has to due with Software, but I also think this heat is contributing

The estimated time it'll take to charge which appears on the lock screen is just an estimation. I asked samsung this question years ago and they gave me the same answer

Yes but it's worrying when the time is 20 or even 40 minutes off track
