There's this thing through which you can check the various components of your phone and that includes the vibration too.
First go to the Keypad and Type/Dial *#0*#, post this these instructions/options will appear on your screen (i have attached the Screenshots), from the options choose the vibration one and see if your phone vibrates or not. If it vibrate then your phone is perfectly fine and the issue is all because of some messed up settings that doesn't allow your phone to vibrate; but if the phone doesn't vibrate while you choose the vibrate option from the above options then it's recommended to have you phone inspected at Samsung Service Centre, it could be some minor software issue or a hardware one.
