Samsung Galaxy A51 has seemingly made its way onto Geekbench this week. The smartphone is only expected to launch next year since it is meant to succeed the Galaxy A50. Samsung launched the Galaxy A50 earlier this year and an improved Galaxy A50s after that. The Galaxy A51 is expected to be a major upgrade over the A50 with a new design and better internals. However, if the benchmark site is to be believed, then the Galaxy A51 will carry the same Exynos 9611 as the Galaxy A50s.

On Geekbench, a Samsung phone with model name SM-A515F has been spotted, which likely refers to the Galaxy A51. The site doesn't reveal a lot about the Galaxy A51 apart from its processor, RAM and the software it is running.

On the processor side of things, the Galaxy A51 is listed with an Exynos 9611 SoC, which is the same processor powering the Galaxy A50s. The 2.3GHz Exynos 9611 is based on a 10nm FinFET process and is equipped with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. This chip will be paired with 4GB of RAM as per the benchmark site. Samsung may also release a 6GB RAM variant for the Galaxy A51 as well.

It is interesting to see an Exynos 9611 power the Galaxy A51 as one would expect a bigger upgrade. Since the Galaxy A50s already offers this processor, it was rumoured that the Galaxy A51 will use a faster Exynos 9630 SoC.

The Galaxy A51 is listed with Android 10, which is something we expect to see in Samsung phones coming out later this year and in 2020. Apart from this, the benchmark site does not reveal anything else about the Galaxy A51. The phone is expected to get upgraded triple camera setup where Samsung could use its 64MP high-resolution GW1 sensor.
